Our Story

Made by hand. Sourced close to home.

Countryside Creations was born from a simple conviction: the best ingredients for your skin aren't invented in a lab. They come from animals raised well, on land you can visit, handled by people who care about what goes on your body.

We make every product in small batches — because quality doesn't scale the way commodity skincare does. That means no shortcuts, no bulk fillers, and no mystery ingredients. Just real, recognizable inputs that have nourished skin for centuries.

Why tallow?

Tallow — rendered beef fat — is structurally similar to the sebum your skin produces naturally. It's rich in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, absorbs without leaving a greasy residue, and works for nearly every skin type. Before petroleum-derived emollients became cheap and convenient in the 20th century, tallow was the foundational ingredient in skin care across cultures worldwide.

We brought it back — not out of nostalgia, but because nothing mass-market comes close to what it does.

Local sourcing, traceable from the start

We source our tallow from local farms and processors who raise animals.  That matters because fat quality reflects what an animal ate and how it lived. Well-raised animals produce fat with a richer nutrient profile — and you can tell the difference on your skin.

Knowing where our ingredients come from isn't a marketing line for us. It's the reason we started this in the first place.

Small-batch. Every time.

Each batch is rendered, infused, blended, and poured by hand in small quantities. We don't make products to sit in a warehouse. We make them fresh, in the order they're needed. That means what arrives at your door is as close to made-to-order as a skincare product gets.

What our customers say

"Five stars aren't enough."

Our Whipped Tallow, Wagyu Face & Body Cream, Head Tallow Balm, and Tallow Soap each hold 4.8–5.0 star ratings from verified buyers. We don't advertise much — word of mouth from customers who actually noticed a difference has driven most of our growth.

That's the kind of feedback we work to earn, one batch at a time.
